The Prisoner and the Illusion of Reality
The storyline then shifts to a dungeon, where a revered woman named Seyidi Hatun visits a young man accused of attacking a caravan and killing soldiers. Before entering, she cautions the guards not to judge the man without truly seeing the complete picture. She states that the light in his eyes proves he did not willingly jump into this darkness, but was instead dragged into it. Offering to bear witness for him, she insists that he must speak the absolute truth and directly asks if he is truly responsible for taking a life.
A Tragic Loss and a Forgotten Mother
In a parallel sequence or flashback, a distressing family tragedy unfolds as a young man desperately searches for his brother, Ahmet. Upon finding him, he delivers the heartbreaking news that their father has passed away, and the two brothers mourn his burial. Following the burial, the grief-stricken brother suddenly remembers in a panic that he had instructed their mother to wait somewhere and completely forgot about her. The narrative concludes with him frantically rushing to find her, while another character asks for directions to a famous fountain bearing the inscription, “He who is silent, hears”.
