Eleni Meriano is a young woman who recently graduated as a doctor. Following the death of her father, Grigori, a priest delivers a posthumous letter to her. Journey to Firtina

Determined to find her real mother and her true identity, Eleni travels to the Black Sea region. During her journey, she interacts with an artificial intelligence bot named Niko, who provides her with information about the area. She learns that the people of the Black Sea are known for being warm, outspoken, and very stubborn.

The Deep-Rooted Blood Feud

Upon arriving, Eleni discovers that she has walked into a bitter, generations-old blood feud. The conflict is between the Firtina village, led by the female head (Mukhtar) Asma Firtina, and the Kocari village, represented by Adil Kocari. The hostility is deeply personal; Asma’s husband and son killed Adil’s grandfather, Adil’s father retaliated by killing them, and Asma’s younger son Serif then killed Adil’s father.

The Land Dispute and the Shooting

The tension reaches a boiling point when Adil Kocari confronts Asma Firtina on her territory. Adil demands a specific piece of land to settle the blood feud, warning that if she refuses, he will kill her son Serif as soon as he is released from prison. In response to this threat, Asma shoots Adil.

A Surprising Cover-Up

Despite being severely wounded, Adil makes a shocking decision when the authorities arrive. Instead of implicating Asma, Adil lies to the police and claims that he accidentally shot himself. This unexpected act of mercy prevents Asma from being arrested and sent to prison.

The Doctor’s Dilemma

They bring him to the local health center, where they initially intend to let him die. The village elders, particularly a woman named Zarifa, orchestrate a campaign against her, framing her as a friend of their enemy. An announcement is made over the village loudspeakers, forbidding anyone from providing Eleni with food, shelter, or a bed.

A Glimpse into the Past

As the present-day conflict unfolds, flashbacks reveal a deeply buried secret from twenty-one years ago. It is shown that Asma and Adil were not always enemies; they were deeply in love. They even had a secret Islamic marriage ceremony where they accepted each other as husband and wife.

The Elders’ Dark Conspiracy

The true tragedy of Asma and Adil’s past is directly linked to the older generation’s machinations. The elders are shown discussing a child that Asma gave birth to. They actively plot to ensure that Adil never finds out Asma had his child, and simultaneously, they plan to keep Asma in the dark about the fact that her child is still alive.

A Desperate Blood Transfusion

Back in the present, Adil is attacked again by unknown assailants, and his stitches are torn open, causing severe blood loss. Finding him in a critical state, Eleni realizes he urgently needs blood to survive. Since they both share the B-positive blood type, Eleni performs a direct blood transfusion from her own arm to Adil’s.

Conclusion and Determination

While saving his life for the second time, Eleni comforts the delirious Adil by playing music on a traditional instrument, just as her adoptive father used to do for her.
